Dark Steel Helmet with Night Vision Upgrade

The Night Vision upgrade is applied to the Dark Steel helmet. When equipped and active, it provides continuous night vision without the鱼眼 effect that regular potions produce.

Effect

• Grants permanent night vision while the upgrade is equipped and active
• Does not produce the characteristic green vignette of potion-based night vision
• Can be toggled on/off via the Dark Steel item toggle (Type.NIGHT_VISION)
• Duration: 400 ticks (20 seconds) per application, refreshed continuously while active

• Created with: Nether Wart + Golden Carrot potion
• Applied to: Dark Steel Helmet only (armor slot 0)

Notes

The upgrade respects the player’s toggle state — if night vision is toggled off, the effect will not be applied even if the upgrade is present. This allows players to conserve energy when night vision is not needed.
